幽靈帳號有感About Ghost Accounts

SBC成立已經超過十年,將快十一年。自從今年年初,放棄咗一直源用嘅Discuz powered網上論壇,轉用相對比較方便嘅手機app,當中除咗係想與時並進之外,亦可以解決我一直想做,但好花時間去做嘅,就係清除晒所有幽靈戶口。

間唔中,都會有想加入SBC嘅人問:「你個會有幾多人?」
「官方數字嗎?幾千人喎!」
「哇,咁多人呀!」

其實我想講,攪上市谷大條數咩?人多又點,多就好咩?啱玩就話啫,俾你幾十萬人登記又如何?有“質素”同肯“參與”先係真實嘅。今時今日,好多嘢都係以吹虛掛帥,要幾多Likes,要幾多Subscribers,就代表住一定嘅“實力”,所以造就咗一個新嘅文化,呃Likes,譁眾取寵去攞Subscribers。其實社會就係咁,當大部份人都係“Followers”,有人形成咗一個風氣或者潮流,大部份人都只係會隨波逐流,因為要刷存在感、認同感。

我都唔係咩異類,個世界係咁走,你都係順住咁走嘅啫,我又點會例外丫?不過,SBC係一個夢幻嘅後樂園,我反而想多返少少真實感。人總係鍾意玩矛盾,幽靈戶口其實係呢個夢幻後樂園係一啲貢獻同意義都無,起碼我係咁覺得。

所以,一有得轉用手機app,我第一件事想到嘅就係推倒重來,全部人無得留低,全部重新登記,資源重新分配 (係咪有啲似Thanos個concept?),個database就好似白紙一張,好fresh,感覺好正。

自從轉咗手機app,我WeChat陸陸續續收到唔少舊會員嘅friend request,絕大部份都係查詢….

「點樣可以裝手機app….」
「係咪用返舊account….」
「個會仲係咪active?」
「個會仲有無活動?」
「我想返嚟玩….」

等等等等。

「咁你舊account叫咩名?」

當佢哋講完我聽,我聽完都無印象,咁你可想而知呢班人有幾幽靈啦。真心想加入嘅,重新提交過會員申請表,我審批完先慢慢再講裝手機app啦,server要位放你哋個戶口㗎,與其純粹做個紙上會員,就唔好浪費大家時間啦。夠直白啦呱。

有啲好少少,有些少印象,教佢裝返,結果咪又係繼續做幽靈!有login都叫好少少,有啲直頭登記完無login過,有意思咩?我會毫不猶豫,刪除咗呢啲帳號,咪浪費資源。

有人覺得我好mean,我只會話,我有權幫大家過濾啲真係會參與同啱玩嘅會員,人生怱怱幾十年,唔想浪費太多時間響唔啱channel嘅人身上,make love, not trouble!

SBC was established just a little over a decade ago with this coming year marking its 11th anniversary. With technology advancing non-stop, the club has been trying to keep up with current trends. Since the transition from the discuz forum over the internet to our current new app platform, there have been many agendas to address with one that sparks my interest the most : Removal of Ghost accounts.

I come across many interested parties from time to time asking me questions mostly related to:
“How many members are in SBC?”
“On the forum? Thousands!”
“Wow, So many members?”

Quantity does not represent the heart of the club. We have thousands of forum members. That is it. “Forum” member. The key here is “Active member” “Quality members”. It is these that makes up what our club is all about. SBC is a club providing an alternative lifestyle for people. I want to make it more realistic, rather than just a platform for people to visit here and there like CD-roms. Therefore, I believe ghost accounts do not worth my time and they take up a lot of our resources.

Our transition to the new app allows me to clear out all the ghost accounts. Everyone starts anew by re-registering as a member. Just like a piece of white paper, our database starts fresh and create a new one with “active” members hopefully.

Since we promoted the new app, I received countless friend requests on WeChat from former members with most of them asking questions such as…

“How to install the new app?”
“Do we use our old account?”
“Is the club still active?”
“Any new activities?”
“I want to come back…”

Etc. etc. etc.

“Then what is your former USERNAME?”

Most of them I have no recollection nor familiar with the usernames… in the end they continue to be ghost members. Re-register with an username but no Login attempt is as useless as a ghost account. What is the point here?

If you are interested and genuinely wants to be part of our club, re-apply and I will tell you in details how to set up the app after. Don’t waste our time and efforts and resources if you’re just ’tagging along”.

Some people might think I am mean, but since I have the power to filter out the “goers” and the “non-goers”, I will do my best to help re-organize the club and remove all ghost accounts effectively as of today.

Sex and yoga

Recently we are researching for our coming themed party. It’s about how yoga may improve the quality of our sex life. I am not into yoga myself but I am not against it neither. If it does help improve the quality of sex, I don’t see why not give it a try! ?

Couple yoga/partner yoga can be fun too. One of the articles I read recommends the following 6 yoga poses that make you better at sex. You wanna try?

***Cat Pose (Marjaryasana) and Cow Pose (Bitilasana)***

Start this pose on all fours. Make sure your wrists are underneath your shoulders and your knees are in line with your hips. Keep your spine neutral and your weight balanced evenly across your body.

Inhale as you look up and let your stomach curve toward the floor. Lift your eyes, chin, and chest up as you stretch.

Exhale, tucking your chin into your chest, and draw your navel toward your spine. Round your spine toward the ceiling.

Move slowly between the two for 1 minute.

***Bridge Pose (Setu Bandha Sarvangasana)***

Lie on your back.

Bend both knees and position your feet hip-width apart with your knees in line with your ankles.

Put your arms flat on the floor with your palms against the ground and spread your fingers.

Lift your pelvic region off the ground, allowing your torso to follow, but keep your shoulders and head on the floor.

Hold the pose for 5 seconds.

Release.

***Happy Baby (Ananda Balasana)***

Lie on your back.

With an exhale, bend your knees up toward your stomach.

Inhale and reach up to grab the outside of your feet, and then widen your knees. You can also use a belt or towel looped over your foot to make it easier.

Flex your feet, pushing your heels upward as you pull down with your hands to stretch

***One-Legged Pigeon (Eka Pada Rajakapotasana)***

Start on the floor on all floors.

Pick up your right leg and move it in front of your body so your lower leg is at a 90-degree angle from your body.

Stretch your left leg out behind you on the floor with the top of your foot facing down and your toes pointing back.

Exhale as you lean forward, shifting your body weight. Use your arms to support your weight. If this is uncomfortable, try folding up a blanket or a pillow and putting it under your right hip to keep your hips level as you stretch.

Release and repeat on the other side.

***Child’s Pose (Balasana)***

Start by kneeling on the floor. With your big toes touching, widen your knees until they’re around hip-width apart.

Exhale and lean forward. Place your hands in front of you and stretch out, allowing your upper body to relax between your legs. Try to touch your forehead to the mat, but you can also rest your head on a block or pillow.

Relax in this position for 30 seconds to a few minutes.

***Corpse Pose (Savasana)***

Lay on your back with your feet spread and palms facing up. Relax every part of your body from your face to your fingers and toes.

Stay in this pose for as long as you want.
